CICS Northtown Academy is a college preparatory high school that provides students the opportunity to explore and grow in a safe, caring and challenging environment.

We have a proven record of success where our high expectations for all students have resulted in outstanding academic achievement and acceptance to the country’s most prestigious colleges and universities.

CICS Northtown has an enrollment of 838 students; with 177 seniors, 225 juniors, 229 sophomores, and 207 freshmen. Approximately 73% of the student body qualifies for the federal free and reduced lunch program. In addition, 18% receive special education services. The Northtown student body ethnic breakdown is as follows: Hispanic 49%; Caucasian 25%; African American 9%; Asian 11%; Multi-Racial 3%; Other 3%. The student to teacher ratio is 14 to 1.
