Athletics & Extracurricular
CICS Northtown Academy Campus recognizes the importance of clubs, student government and athletics in the development of young men and women.
As an extension of the academic program at CICS Northtown, we support and encourage student participation in all of our extracurricular programs.
Athletics
CICS Northtown believes that our students health and enjoyment of life makes them better students. At CICS Northtown, students can learn to play sports in a physical education course or as a member of an athletic team. We encourage our students to develop and exercise a life-long fitness habit using the numerous strength building machines in our fitness center. Our curriculum reinforces health and fitness as a foundation of wellness.
Whether students are star athletes or have never stepped out on a court or field, the athletics program at CICS Northtown is an exciting experience. Everyone has a chance to participate. While we certainly want our teams to win, we recognize that the most important benefit our students experience is learning to work as a team while fine-tuning leadership skills on the field.
CICS Northtown is proud of our student athletes and offers an array of sporting activities for both young men and women including:
- Baseball
- Basketball
- Cross Country
- Soccer
- Softball
- Spirit Club/Cheerleading
- Tennis
- Track
- Volleyball
For more information regarding athletic programs available at CICS Northtown, contact Eileen McBride via email or by calling 773-478-3655.
