CICS Wrightwood Students Featured on Green Screen Adventures!

Join us as we celebrate CICS Wrightwood students Melvin and Leon Griffith on having their Young Authors award-winning book produced and featured on the Green Screen Adventures (GSA) web site.

Green Screen Adventures is a national children’s television series that features stories written and illustrated by students in first through eighth grade. Since its debut in 2007, they’ve done 225 episodes featuring the work of almost 1,500 students. GSA gives students a real world connection to their writing - a way to see the impact of their work beyond the classroom.

The brothers worked with their father to produce their book "Omari and the Football." Melvin, a 2nd grader wrote the book, while his brother Leon, a 7th grader illustrated it. VIsit the GSA web site to view the book online.
